Cal Poly Students: This event will be hosted by Cal Poly Career Services, Student Academic Services and the Cross Cultural Centers on Wednesday, January 22 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the MAC at Cal Poly. This event offers students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds the chance to connect with employers to learn more about their company culture and ways that their organizations support underrepresented groups including, but not limited to: various racial and ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, gender identities, citizenship, sexual orientations, disability and socioeconomic status.

Note that this event is not a career fair and there is no requirement for students to have resumes. The dress code for this event is business casual which is a combination of a skirt, dress, dress pants, blouse, sweater, or button-down shirt. Although the employers attending will also be recruiting at the Winter Career Fair, the emphasis for this event will be on networking and information sharing. For a list of participating employers, please view the event page on MustangJOBS, powered by Handshake.

EVENT PREP: Career Services’ Clothing Closet will be open for students following the prep workshop on Friday, January 17 from 1-4 pm.

QUESTIONS? If students have additional questions about the event, please feel free to contact Jack Sandoval at jsando55@calpoly.edu.
